Last weekend we had thousands of people worshipping with us. And hundreds of them were guests…your families and friends!

We spent 40 Days praying that God would draw people to the services. God worked through our members and answered this prayer.

During the hour we spent together, we shared the simple message of the Gospel. Some heard it for the first time; others had heard parts of the message of the gospel but did not know how to have a relationship with God.

So, let's take the time to pray for them and the message that was delivered:

Father, we pray that everyone who worshipped with us will understand how You changed the course of history.

Jesus, You are the unique God-Man and we worship You as the One who died on the cross and was raised from the dead. We pray that everyone who heard will come to understand why You had to die.

We pray they will understand Your Holiness as the Triune God and Your demand for the payment of sin. Help them to understand they are disqualified to pay for their own sin. Open their eyes to see the cross and how You redeemed us through the shedding of Your blood.

Holy Spirit, convince them that they are lost without You. We pray they will hear Your voice of love crying from the cross and that they will be found by Your grace. We pray they will accept Your forgiveness and will be released from their sin and shame. We pray they will accept Your gift of Eternal Life.

And, Father, we pray one more thing. Help the person who brought them to know how to respond when they ask questions about You.

Thank You for answering our prayers. We know You will continue to work through our church family.
